A Story Untold

Someone must have loved

this place, so full of blooming

daffodils, but now

the house, long vacant, crumbles

and no one’s around to care.

    Isn’t that great though that even with the house crumbling, the daffodils keep blooming! I think there’s a lesson in your poem, Joan. 🙂
