is overcast, daffodils
and pansies, redbud
and forsythia, cherry
and pear, shine without the sun.

Joan, these words rang so true for me today. I am visiting family in the Pacific NW and there is rain, clouds, rain, clouds. We braved it through the rain to visit the Japanese Gardens in Portland, OR yesterday and even though little was in bloom and what was had been rain-drenched, we had such a lovely time. No matter what – the show does go on. Wonderful poem. Thanks.
