Crow Come-On

If I didn’t know

better, I’d swear that crow

was flirting with me –

cocked head, knowing look, beak raised,

wings shimmering in the sun.

    Maybe it was flirting with you.

    But then if those are signs of crows flirting, you must consider sea gulls, ravens, Myna birds- where I live- cockatoos…
