Once she said to me,

“I’m Bienvenida and 

so are you.” She grinned

when I smiled at

her cleverness – this artist,

thinker, pharmacist,

mother, sister, daughter, wife,

extraordinary 

friend. I’ll forever cherish 

her wit and her welcoming way.
