Ever since I set
my GPS to “off road”,
hoping to avoid
interstates, my grandson has
taken great delight
in asking how many creeks
I forded, what woods
I crossed and how many fields
I roamed on my long way home.

I so identify with this since I spend most of my time “off road” according to the rules. Thanks for being you! Debbe

Having just cracked an axle and almost lost a wheel (and maybe a life) driving 300 miles on notorious truck routes in Pennsylvania, I am joining you in going off road — literally as well as metaphorically.
