It All Comes Down To This

It all comes down to this single

moment when the

door swings open

and you enter

and settle in, when you curl up

next to my heart’s

fire and your warmth

slowly begins

to fill the house. Even after

you’ve gone and cold

and dark descend,

your warmth remains.
