It’s funny how our vision improves when
we open our

when I bought
that first mother’s day card,
signed my son’s name
and mailed it to myself.
When I proudly showed it to him,
he said, “Mom, could you also
send yourself some flowers and candy?
A simple card doesn’t capture
how blooming sweet you are.”
