Just Yesterday

It seems just yesterday that tree stood bare

and now flowers

adorn her

verdant

hair.

Author’s Challenge

What will you choose to write on tomorrow’s

page of the book

you’ve come to

call your

life ?

(With thanks to John Forsyth’s and Georg Eifert’s exercise:

“Your Life Book Of Possibilities” from their book,

THE MINDFULNESS AND ACCEPTANCE WORKBOOK FOR ANXIETY)

So Much More

Let’s move slow. Life is green and checkered,

not flawless as

we’d wished… but

so much

Sweep Of Time

For one short moment, now slid into then

Open To Correction

All those mistakes we make aren’t wasted if

we begin to

explore where

things went

wrong.

Indulgent Spring

Intermingled with bare limbs and new green,

a purple-pink

blossoming –

April

fling.

Unsought But Found

Something about a certain slant of light

stirs memories

unsought but

sadly

found.

The Sun And I

The sun – poking out from behind its clouds

and I from mine –

exchange a

sunny

grin.
