Knox first eyes me

then the door. When I don’t

 respond, he lets out a sigh,

sits down, and softly whimpers.

“Ok”, I say.  “Just wait a minute.”

He plops down, shakes his head,

covers his eyes as if to say.

“Oh my. This could take all day.”
