Those hearty squirrels
bravely scarf down the pepper
spiced seed meant to deter them:
all nine of them , tails curved,
leisurely chomping away.

someone gave us a bag of peppered seed with a squirrel proof seal on it. I was dubious. Never seen a squirrel pass up a sunflower seed!
