Determined to finish our walk
in spite of the rain,
Knox and I picked up our pace.
Reaching our goal, we turned around
and headed home.
Only then did I see, high in the sky,
the double rainbow I couldn’t see before.
I gazed at the sky, Knox at the grass,
until we arrived home soaked in raindrops
and filled with delight.

It’s so interesting how two beings can be in the same area and focus on different things. That happens with me and my cat when we go out mornings to see the sunrise. Glad you got to see the rainbow. What a blessing.
