In my area (southwest Colorado) we always get at least one big snowstorm in April, a sort of swan song for winter as spring waits patiently to take the stage for the main show. Your haiku is brilliant and adds a really nice feel to the changing of the seasons. 🙂
That’s how it’s been where I live, Joan. It has actually snowed for the last two mornings and night temps down in the teens. I like all seasons but I am sooooo ready for spring. Patience I hear the universe whispering to me.
