Clouds move across the sky
causing the light to change.
I long to reside more
in the sky than in those clouds
that cause the light to shift.

I know this is probably a piece meant to show peace, but to me it speaks power. It is because of your last line. It’s like light has tremendous power, but the clouds are the ones who get to decide if the light shines or not.
