Grocery Store Reflections

Went to the grocery store,

saw empty shelves

where hand sanitizer and toilet paper used to be.

Thought of the lines from that popular song from the Sixties

“What the world needs now is love sweet love.

It’s the only thing there’s just too little of “.

~

How different things would be

if love were as contagious as fear.

  2. So true, Joan. Since we have to keep our physical distance from others and no hugging allowed, maybe we can share love by smiling from 6 feet away. Smiles are contagious and in need more than ever. I hope you got all your supplies at the grocery store.
