For Just A Moment

For just a moment

I want to listen to the silent morning speak.

For just a moment

I want to taste the salt of my reply.

For just a moment

I want to turn to myself and say, “Welcome home.”

I guess we make pictures as we read. After pondering the poem I clicked on eileerallin4’s comment and noticed the time it was posted. Maybe I have more company when my “mornings” begin at midnight than I thought. Or maybe it’s time zones?? — Thank you, Joan, for sharing these with us every “day”! Maybe I’ll start checking in before going to sleep. Love, Dabney
