You Never Know

    When my pen is poised and the words refuse

to flow, it could

be a sign 

to dive

deep,

keep

silent,

and simply

sit and wait ’til

inspiration strikes or I fall asleep.

    You made me smile, Joan, with this image of staying at the keyboard (or paper) waiting silently for a muse until sleep comes. Possibly the muse wants to visit you with inspiration in your dreams. 🙂
