Silent Interruption

How easy it is to keep on talking,

trying to press our point home.

Better to sit in silence together.

Things might take a surprising turn.

  1. Love this, Joan. Here’s a quote from an article I read from Tricycle’s Daily Dharma today that is on a similar topic, “To know what a person says, we must hear what remains unsaid. If we cannot hear silence, we do not know how to listen.” – Mark C. Taylor.
