the bachelors are back
their stems held strong and true
though once removed
their blue faces shine again –
you can’t keep a good man down

Today I was told I’d have to leave my beloved office because they were going to create a much larger office space which would incorporate mine. I take heart from these bachelor buttons that line the road on my way from home to work and back again.
Way to take care of a client. Unbelievable.

Dear Joan, I am SO sorry; your office (the innards only, I guess) is so warm and welcoming and forgiving. Given what I just wrote, I am sure that you will find another place and it will be just as good. Maybe even better. There is the nasty trauma of CHANGE. UGH! Let me help you. I mean it, packing, sorting, orgnizing, taking books off shelves, putting books on shelves, all of that. I would really like to help you. It wold mean a great deal to me to be of some actual use to you. Let me know, I’ll be around and AVAILABLE and eager to help, to mid-Sept. for two weeks. I”ll return in early Oct. and will be, again, eager to help. Blessings, my dear Susan PS: I was in Margie’s space two days ago. There was a sign saying there was an office vacancy. Don’t know if that would be a good location for you,or anything about the other factors. I just saw the vacancy sign. Let me know; I’ll be all over it. (I just love it when I can say something that might be actual current terminology.)xxoo, S. I, and many more will mourn with you the leaving of your office, beloved by probably all who have ever been there. I hope we’ll eventually be celebrating another space where you will be nurturing the growth of new life. Love, Dabney
