The sun never sets the same way
twice. An endless
variety
closes out the day.
Sometimes a slow fade marks the end.
Other times the
sky explodes with
gold. Back-lit clouds
may shimmer pink, a curtain of
grey may hide an
exit, but a
comeback’s always
waiting off stage.

This is great. I really like it. Life as a variety show; I have never heard such an analogy. And I hope I never do again, because this post already uses it perfectly.

Joan: I always enjoy the keen observation skills – of your heart. I can especially picture the power of a sky as it “explodes with gold,” – and the sun planning it’s “comeback.” Happy Thanksgiving! Cheryl.

I fantasize about the sky too. it never gets me bored. Watching the sky is like watching history on a colorful canvas that reflects ancient stories and time yet to come.Cheers.
