A Minute At Easter

Cloudless blue sky, white butterflies,

dancing yellow

buttercups all

joined us for

our Easter meal, eaten outside

as our two dogs

eyed hopefully

each tiny bite.

A playful breeze blessed pond and trees

and each of us

as we gave thanks

for nature’s grace.

This one feels like benediction, like prayer.
