I was way off center when Truth

interrupted.

In a tone, not

sharp, not gentle,

without drama or persuasion ,

Truth stopped the swirl.

The clear message

came uncluttered,

minus yes or no, do or don’t –

a mere statement

of fact startling

the noise of thought,

bringing me back to the center

not only mine

but Truth’s as well.
