Course Correction

It didn’t take long –

the tiniest fraction of

the time it would have

taken to make things right if

she had said the first

thing that came to mind. She did

not speak or sigh or

make a single sound as she

reached out and softly touched his hand.

    Wonderful verse. A story of what might have been but for want of words. You have an amazing talent to use shortness of verse to deliver a depth of feeling.
