After the gold of daffodils,

forsythia,

and buttercups

comes the wild white

of Queen Anne’s  Lace and daisies, the

sweet abandon

of clover. Through

every season’s

shifting hues, holly stands constant

and true, bearing

gifts of green to

those wandering.
