The learned doctor wants to know
whether I am
oriented
to time and space.
But what dimension is he in?
Because down here
time flies, crawls, drags,
sometimes stands still.
“Don’t even ask me about space,”
I want to say,
but don’t for fear
of doing time.

. . . when the Dr. does . . . sorry

Have you read ‘They Went Whistling’ by Barbara Holland??
When the DOES ask ‘What ABOUT space??’, tell him that in your mind’s eye, you see a lot between his ears.
