yet it holds so much.

They’re counting on us,
those trees who’ve given so much,
not to let them down.

As Thursday slides toward
Friday, anticipation
grows – Fall Break is near.

Ragweed, please don’t rag
on me and Goldenrod, could
you please spare the rod?

find a poem amidst the pain,
find solace in that.
