A sigh of pleasure

even with a mask
I can breathe in
the fresh scents of Spring.

dine side by side

puppuccino from Starbucks
and signaled his pleasure
with a contented slurp
and a big puppy grin.

Some trees hint of green.
Others bide their time.
After all, it’s not a race.
Everything moves

brings Knox
a joyous romp with friends
and me
an evening of peace.

letting sleeping dogs lie.
