It only took one step out the door,
before our cat turned around
and came back in, reminding us
with multiple meows
that she was a domestic animal
and not a polar bear.

That was braver than my (Siberian) cat! He sniffed the cold air from inside the open door, shook his fluffy head and ran back into the kitchen. Cats! Gotta love ’em.
